Effective Date: January 1, 2026
By accessing the Cedar City Insulation website at cedarcityinsulation.com, requesting a quote, scheduling services, or entering into a service agreement with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and anyone else who interacts with Cedar City Insulation ("we," "us," or "our").
Cedar City Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation installation, removal, and related services in Cedar City, Utah and surrounding areas. Services include but are not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, and related work.
We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion, including work that presents safety concerns, falls outside our service area, or cannot be completed to our standard of quality.
Written estimates are provided at no charge following an on-site assessment. All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted in writing. Prices are subject to change if the scope of work changes materially after the estimate is issued.
Verbal estimates, ballpark figures, or ranges discussed by phone or email are not binding. Only a signed written estimate or contract constitutes a price commitment.
Additional charges may apply if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the work, such as structural damage, hazardous materials, or access limitations not visible during the initial assessment. We will notify you and obtain approval before proceeding with work that would increase the cost.
Scheduling is subject to availability. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred dates. We aim to respond to all new service requests within 1 business day.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover crew scheduling and equipment preparation costs.
We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, equipment issues, or other circumstances outside our control. We will contact you promptly if a rescheduling is necessary.
Before our crew arrives, you agree to:
We are not responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from a failure to meet these responsibilities.
Payment is due upon completion of work unless a different arrangement is specified in a signed written contract. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. A deposit may be required for large projects; deposit terms will be stated in the written estimate.
Overdue balances are subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month. If collection action becomes necessary, you agree to pay reasonable attorneys fees and collection costs.
We stand behind our work. We provide a workmanship warranty on labor for 1 year from the completion date of the project. This warranty covers defects in our installation, not damage caused by subsequent construction, improper maintenance, acts of nature, or conditions outside our control.
Material warranties are provided by the manufacturers of the insulation products we install. We will assist you in understanding and filing any applicable manufacturer warranty claim.
To make a workmanship warranty claim, contact us in writing within the warranty period at hi@cedarcityinsulation.com or (435) 592-8002.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cedar City Insulation is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services or website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
Our website and any information provided through it are offered "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be error-free or uninterrupted. Information on the website is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional engineering, building science, or legal advice.
Where required by law, we will obtain the necessary building permits through the applicable local authority (such as the Cedar City Building Department) before beginning work. Permit fees, if applicable, are the responsibility of the customer and will be disclosed in the written estimate. We comply with the International Energy Conservation Code as adopted by the State of Utah and applicable local amendments.
If a dispute arises between you and Cedar City Insulation, we ask that you first contact us directly at hi@cedarcityinsulation.com or (435) 592-8002 to attempt to resolve the matter informally.
If informal resolution is not successful within 30 days, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Iron County, Utah, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action. Notwithstanding this, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Iron County, Utah.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
